Tended grew out of long roots in Leelanau County. We know the homeowners, the contractors, the cleaners, the lake, and the seasons. We're building a company that reflects how this place actually works.

Co-Founder

Jerry Lannen

Jerry founded Glen Arbor Construction in 2021 in response to the increasing demand for new home construction and extensive remodels in the area. With 18 years in new builds and over 35 years in the building industry, he brings deep local roots and an unmatched network of homeowner relationships across Leelanau County. He has worked with Glen Arbor homeowners for over a decade and is known for delivering quality, on time and on budget. Jerry moved to Northern Michigan in 2004 and lives in the Long Lake area. In his spare time he enjoys pickleball, golf, and travel.

Head of Operations

Kailey Dykstra

Kailey works behind the scenes to ensure day-to-day operations run smoothly and efficiently, with a focus on client relationships and business development. She brings a background in vacation rental management and a genuine love for Leelanau County — her family vacationed in Glen Arbor when she was young, and she made it her permanent home in 2021. Kailey is deeply connected to the local community and committed to building something lasting here.

Co-Founder & Managing Broker

Brett Sigworth

Brett is a Northern Michigan–based entrepreneur and licensed managing broker with a track record of building and scaling companies from the ground up. He holds an MS in Entrepreneurship and previously scaled a multi-location dental chain through a successful private equity exit. His background spans multi-location business growth, PE transactions, and real estate development and investment — and he brings that same operator's mindset to Tended. He co-founded Tended because he saw an opportunity to build something intentional in a place he genuinely cares about.
